Miniature Rotary Solenoid with Double EfficiencyThe smallest member in our MAGNET-SCHULTZ product family with a diameter of only 12mm introduces itself. A new developed, patented electro-dynamic drive system is the solution for the balancing act between size and useable torque.
The high degree of efficiency enables the device with a rotation angle of 45° to a largely constant torque of 0,65Nmm. Our miniature device becomes double efficient by the fact that a reversal of the rotation sense takes place by reversing the polarity of the supply voltage. Consequently the usual return spring - which is accompanied by the handicap that it is „winded up“ during the working motion and therefore the rated torque of the device is reduced - is not applicable for many applications.
A little armature mass enables the miniature device to good dynamic characteristics.
In spite of the very compact design both limits of travel (0°, 45°) have been successfully equipped with an impact damping. So the device is characterized not only by a low noise development but also by a long service life.
In the presented variant mechanical fastening is made via a two hole flange, further fastening methods may be realized on request
