Scanning Transducer with Hall Sensor

The present transducer has been developed for the requirements of hydraulic applications on the basis of a proven Hall sensor principle with the linearity in the accuracy class of +/- 1%.

The novel type of construction facilitates fastening and adjustment of the transducer compared to known systems. There is no more positive connection between sensor rod and the element whose position should be recorded. A spring inserted in the transducer presses the sensor rod against the object under measurement, its position is quasi scanned.

The transducer is destined for position measurements in the range of +/- 6mm and the housing absorbs pressures up to 80 bars. Electrical connection of the device is made via a thread connector. Using a suitable mating plug the device has a protection class IP54.

Mechanical adaptations, enlarged pressure ranges and higher protection classes are possible on request.
