Solutions for challenging applications

On June 30, 2026, Magnet-Schultz GmbH & Co. KG successfully completed its 114th fiscal year with revenue of €364 million, representing growth of more than 11% compared to the previous year. The MSMgroup likewise achieved a consolidated global revenue of €425 million, an increase of approximately 10%. This performance was driven by worldwide growth in existing automotive and hydraulic applications, as well as new projects in the commercial vehicle sector. Hydrogen applications, aerospace, and defense also continued to develop positively as sophisticated niche markets. With 1,800 employees, the headquarters in the Allgäu region is currently operating at a high level of capacity utilization, has approximately 50 open positions, and plans for 3% growth in fiscal year 2026/27. Globally, the MSMgroup employs around 2,450 people, with the BCC facility in Brașov (Kronstadt), Romania, offering the greatest growth potential.

The three most significant challenges facing German industry and the economy continue to be high labor costs combined with one of the lowest effective annual working hours worldwide, expensive and increasingly uncertain energy supplies, and excessive bureaucracy and regulation. On the positive side, Germany continues to benefit from a high level of education, not only in academia but also among skilled trades thanks to its dual vocational training system, a comparatively strong infrastructure, and—particularly in the Allgäu region—a highly attractive business location.

MSM addresses major trends in mobility and other customer segments through automation, innovation, and technological openness. As an independent, family-owned mid-sized company with production facilities in Germany, the United States, China, and, since 2024, Romania, MSM maintains a strong global presence. We help our customers succeed both domestically and internationally and remain firmly convinced that progress is driven not by subsidies and prohibitions, but by the social market economy founded on supply and demand, supported by highly qualified professionals and responsible citizens. True sustainability means the long-term combination of economic success and resource efficiency. Furthermore, only a competitive and successful industrial sector can provide the economic foundation for our freedom, democracy, security, and independence.
