More than 100 apprentices, instructors and specialists gave the guests a look behind the scenes and tried at the same time to provide valuable information in direct dialogue to the future school graduates for the forthcoming vocational choice.

In the lounge, the apprentices and instructors of the job profiles IT specialist, industrial clerk and warehouse logistics specialist answered all questions around the commercial professions. Those who were interested in a dual course were also satisfied here.

In the range of basic training, the guest had the opportunity to watch the apprentices working on their current exercise projects and to have explained the further work process. Also the process mechanics were represented here and showed their EURO trolley chip made of blue plastic granulate. At the information desk of the surface coaters, interesting visitors were shown the functioning of electroplating by means of a miniature electroplating bath.

In the electric training workshop, one could look over the shoulder of the apprentices in the professions mechatronics technician and electronics technician while they carried out different electrical basic training exercises. In the rear area of the training workshop, apprentices of different mechanical job profiles created workpieces at different production facilities and tooling machines among others a universal door stop made of aluminium. Thanks to the exhibited training, examination as well as project works of the industrial, tool and cutting mechanics, the visitors got an insight into the practical skills of the future skilled workers and in addition, could contemplate two punching tools manufactured by the tool mechanics.

In the CNC training area, the metal cutting mechanics turned and milled the MSM logo as fidget spinner. The mechatronics and electronics technicians, who moved to the training domain equipment and machinery after having passed the first part of the final examination , presented their examination works as e.g. a „Bavarian sausage machine“ and a „camera slider“. Also the profession of technical product designer was exhibited in this area and explained to the interested visitors by means of 3D programmes.

When admiring a fair trade booth and a training robot independently designed by the apprentices in a common project, the guest could witness the activities of the various job profiles.

At the end of this perfect day, the visitors could take home lots of impressions and also some gifts at home as a souvenir.
