As the values above are of major importance and play a key role for applications, there have been certificates for social skills at the Staatlichen Wirtschaftsschule Memmingen (Public Business School Memmingen) since this school year. „Because we need more than the report marks and two characterising adjectives to describe our students“, says the project manager of the Wirtschaftsschule Mrs. Stein who has initiated this project and worked it out within a project group. Magnet-Schultz and Media-Markt as cooperation partners support this project as well and confirm the meaning of such a certificate in the framework of the selection of applicants. On Wednesday, 26.07.2017, four students of the seventh and tenth grade were awarded with a certificate: Mariella Gugel, Christoph Dorn, Lara Riedmiller and Batuhan Sevik. All four students convinced the jury, consisting of school management, SMV (student council), parents’ association, representatives of the municipality and representatives of the partner companies Magnet-Schultz and Media-Markt by their extraordinary social skills.
