Beginning of Apprenticeship at MAGNET-SCHULTZ

The starting signal in working live has sounded for 32 young people

On 1st September 2017, 32 young people started their vocational training at MAGNET-SCHULTZ GmbH & Co. KG. So, currently 152 youngsters are trained in 13 different professions and 13 students in seven dual courses.

CEO Dr.-Ing. Albert W. Schultz welcomed the young employees within a small event on 01.09.2017 and pointed out what they can contribute themselves to achieve a successful graduation  – as more than 1,700 apprentices before who have been trained at MAGNET-SCHULTZ since 1950.

As leading high-tech manufacturer of electromagnetic devices for demanding applications among others for mechanical engineering, aerospace, automotive industry and medical technology Dr.-Ing. Albert W. Schultz created an awareness of the new apprentices for the topics of commitment, engagement, sense of responsibility and reliability. „We manufacture quality products on which human lives may depend. MAGNET-SCHULTZ has a very good reputation among his customers. For this also will continue in the future, cleanliness, discipline, using one’s own mind and flexibility must prevail already in the apprenticeship, in the company and in vocational school.“ Furthermore he pointed out that good results, both in vocational school and in the final exams will be awarded.

In the subsequent week, the apprentices went on a four-day introduction event together with apprentices of company PREFAG Carl Rivoir GmbH & Co. KG which is part of the MAGNET-SCHULTZ group. Destination was Haus Bergheimat in Kleinwalsertal.

In this event, the focus was not only laid on getting to know the instructor and the other apprentices. Instead the apprentices should be prepared professionally for the requirements of the world of work far away from the training company. So the apprentices learned all about the topics project set-up, communication skills and conflict management in the climbing garden whereas during canyoning, confidence in the other apprentices and courage was in demand. Notions as self-confidence, responsibility and endurance got a new meaning during the week.
